The Drawing Factory had a Good Run

It was in operation from July 13 to July 25, 09 on the grounds of the Jeffers Tree Farm near Chesterhill, Ohio (as part of the Harold Arts Residency). We had a great union, we only worked an hour and a half a day, 5 days a week. Sometimes we even drank beer on the job.

Below is the initial call for participation in the drawing factory. Pictures coming soon!

The Drawing Factory

Calling all bodies that can draw a picture.

Your labor is needed at the Drawing Factory, located on the grounds of the Harold Arts Residency. For each drawing produced the drawer (you) will receive a drawing in return (produced by the Drawing Factory machinist, Colin Matthes).

The drawing factory will open on Monday July 13th and is scheduled to steadily produce drawings until Friday July 24th. The factory will be in operation from 2pm to 3:30pm every day of the week (times subject to change). Drawings may only be produced for exchange inside the drawing factory. All drawings must be scanned before leaving the premises, these scans will be used to add drawing to a blog and to created a printed artists book. Once the project is complete, a book of the drawings will be mailed to each worker at the drawing factory.
